As the new Headteacher, I hope to continue enhancing the position and accomplishments of our "Outstanding" School.
We are a school that continually strives to develop, and our academic success is well-established. Exam results rank us among the best schools in the county and the nation.
The phrase "Our outcomes speak for themselves, our students speak for us" best captures the fact that our students are our greatest brand advocates.
The fact that we are the only girls' grammar school in North Buckinghamshire is only one aspect of our story. Another advantage is that our students have a larger social network than students at other schools because our brother school, Aylesbury Grammar School (AGS), is located practically next door.
This, in my opinion, enables us to give our pupils "the best of both worlds."
Everyone is encouraged to participate, to provide their best effort, and to have fun at AHS.
The pupils' exceptional personal growth, the excellent Sixth Form, and the varied and exciting curriculum have always received praise from Ofsted.
We are a high-achieving school that is busy, inclusive, a girls' school where kids can take risks, and all of these things.
