Homes managed by Arnfield Care Ltd have continuously been rated as Good, with the majority of factors being outstanding. Given the additionally difficult and challenging nature of those placed at Arnfield Tower, Ofsteds judgements for some time, rating the home as consistently Outstanding, is a clear demonstration and recognition of the hard work and commitment provided by the homes long-standing management, teachers and staff. Greenfield House, once more having characteristics of Outstanding, is graded as Good. Young people in the home received the following assessment from Ofsted in July 2015: "I thought that the care and support you receive from the professionals is brilliant." I have, however, requested that the Manager make a few minor changes to some of the completed papers in order to further improve the residence. This is not something that affects you or the quality of the care that the staff provide you at the moment, as I can see that with help and support of the staff, you are all achieving great things. Currently, Ofsted conducts interim and complete inspections on educational and children's service organisations every two years, producing reports and making the following judgements. An outstanding childrens home provides highly effective services that contribute to significantly improved outcomes for children and young people who need help and protection and care. Their development goes above and beyond expectations and continues over time. A good childrens home provides effective services that help, protect and care for children and young people and have their welfare safeguarded and promoted.
