From the Alder Grange School
Our school has an exceptional setting.
Alder Grange is a school where everyone is motivated to do their best work, where excellence is fostered by all, and where there is a genuine sense of family and community among all members.
Our goal is to support our young people as they develop into remarkable, self-reliant, strong, and useful citizens in a complex, interconnected world of the twenty-first century.
We work hard to provide each student with a customised curriculum in addition to a wide range of extracurricular activities, enrichments, and life skills.
From seventh to thirteenth grade, our school values students of all abilities and prides itself on being inclusive.
We push students to show concern for one another and the school, to function as a unit, and to assume leadership responsibilities.
Additionally, there is a sincere concern for and engagement with the families of the young people in our care.
The wellbeing of everyone at the school, especially the mental health of both staff and students, is one of our current top objectives.
Within all subject areas in school, a curricular intent is being developed to guarantee that all students can advance their knowledge and passions.
Alder Grangers have every right to be proud of their school, and the frequently used expression "once and Alder Granger, always and Alder Granger" captures the ardent affection our students have for it.
I have worked at Alder Grange since 1998, and I feel really blessed and proud to be the headteacher.
