The mission of Whitworth Community High School is to provide all students with the tools necessary to thrive in a changing world.
We want to foster a culture of high expectations among all of our kids so they can realise their full potential.
The goal of everything we do is to promote a commitment to learning that is not only focused on knowledge acquisition but also on the development of the skills, qualities, and values necessary to support lifelong learning.
Teachers should continue their education throughout their careers, and Whitworth Community High School is dedicated to promoting collaborative planning and development methods so that staff members can share knowledge.
This entails developing a "safe" environment where all learners, including faculty and students, can speak openly about their strengths and potential development areas without feeling like a "failure."
In order to increase aspirations, our learning community should have a "can-do" attitude and provide students with a wide variety of learning opportunities.
Participating in a range of local, national, and international activities should serve to increase knowledge of how our learning community contributes to these advances.
Participation in programmes like the school council, form representation, student mentor programme, school prefect, and house system should encourage students to take on leadership roles.
Our sporting facilities, a variety of clubs, and other extracurricular activities like music, art, and theatre will all promote healthy lifestyles.
Finally, our learning community should exhibit originality, invention, teamwork, and courage.
