From the School
The goal of Accrington Academy is to help each and every student realise their full potential.
I want all staff members at Accrington Academy to treat our pupils as if they were our own children because, as the headteacher, I firmly believe that "Children's learning is not a rehearsal." As a result, I set high expectations for them.
Our goal is to provide children with a top-notch education, exceptional exam results, and fantastic extracurricular programmes that help school come alive for them.
Ofsted praised the "warmth and liveliness" at Accrington Academy and said that we are producing pupils that are "aspirational, confident, and outward oriented."
This, together with our emphasis on academic success, has helped to establish us as a preferred school in our neighbourhood.
We have access to top-notch educational resources and the know-how to offer great opportunities for students and staff since we are a member of the United Learning family of schools and academies.
