Greetings from Wymondley JMI School.
We are a contented, aspirational, and welcoming small village school with students ranging in age from four to eleven.
The school is located in the picturesque village of Little Wymondley, which is bordered by fields and has a welcoming local population.
When it is Library Club day for the kids, they can also use the library during lunch.
The school's grounds are large and encircled by trees and bushes.
There are football, netball, and tag rugby fields on our sizable sports field, which also has a hard play area.
It has a number of raised beds where the kids can grow produce both in an open lunchtime club and during after-school learning programmes.
After being harvested, the fruits and vegetables are made into jams and chutneys and sold at our Wymondley Harvest Festival.
Each week, Mrs. Johnson, our gifted music teacher, teaches music to all of the school's classes.
We aim to foster a passion of learning in our kids from a young age and support it as it develops throughout school.
Every member of the team at Wymondley knows every student.
We want to ensure that every one of our kids has the best start in life and that they are equipped with the social, technological, and creative abilities necessary for a future they have not yet experienced.
Our goal as a staff team is to help each student grow in their abilities so that, by the end of Year 6, they are well-rounded, extroverted, and capable of taking on the challenges that lie ahead.
We encourage prospective parents to stop by our school and would be pleased to give you a tour so you can decide for yourself if it's the best fit for your child.
