Wychbold First and Nursery School

Welcome to the webpage for Wychbold First and Nursery School. We are fortunate to be situated on the edge of Wychbold with a beautiful open field for the children at the rear of the school. We are a First School that is smaller than typical, but we will be expanding over the coming years as we increase our entrance from fifteen to thirty students annually to meet the demand for seats. Our nursery can provide morning, afternoon, or full-day childcare that includes lunch. Wychbold's committed and inspiring staff ensure that learning is exciting and that the school is bursting with activity. Never a dull moment, it seems. Lessons are engaging, intriguing, and well-planned to inspire learning. At Wychbold, we adhere to the Learning Behaviours philosophy, which teaches kids to identify the qualities that make them good learners and what they must do to achieve success. Giving kids a happy initial learning experience is the goal, as is making sure they realise and aspire to go beyond their potential. We make sure that the term is packed with field trips, visitors, theme days, and outdoor learning opportunities. We fervently think that if we can make learning in school engaging by using real-world examples, then kids will flourish and this will instil a love of learning and of school.
