Introducing myself to you as the Head Teacher of Woodville Primary School brings me tremendous joy and pride.
I'm very excited to be in this role and to make sure the school continues to grow.
We promote a Growth Mindset approach because we think all students can succeed in all areas of learning.
We provide a mastery-based, themed curriculum to engage, inspire, and immerse the students in their study while fostering doubt and curiosity.
Reading and phonics are important components of our programme.
The phrase "To be a caring school" is in our school's mission statement because we want all of our students, employees, and visitors to act with consideration for one another.
As it is crucial to foster a healthy Growth Mindset throughout the school, we also urge our students to give it their all in whatever they do. Through a variety of engaging learning experiences, such as computers, studying curricular topics, developing abilities in a variety of sports, and solving creative and logical problems, our students have the chance to improve their confidence, independence, and resilience.
Students at our school are able to participate in Forest Schools and other learning and enrichment programmes that take advantage of the surrounding natural environment.
The language, attitudes, and behaviours of the students and the larger school community are influenced by the expectations of behaviour and relationships, which are reflected in the school's core values. NAHT Aspire Peer Review, July 2018.
You'll notice the excellent academic behaviour of our students at Woodville Primary School as well as the warmth and dedication of our staff.
We think it's important for your kids to feel secure, enjoy themselves, and eagerly anticipate each school day.
