Woodland Grange Primary School

In August 1991, Woodland Grange first became accessible. It is located near Oadby, close to the A6, on the Grange Farm housing complex. The school was initially designed to accommodate 240 students between the ages of 4 and 10. Over 500 people are currently on duty (including 3 year olds in our own preschool which opened in 2015). The school is situated on lovely, roomy grounds. We have a sizable school field, and a wooded area designates the school's perimeter. At Woodland Grange, we place a high value on outdoor learning and take advantage of our surroundings. The main building, which includes classrooms, a computer lab, a room for medical and reprographics services, and the school office, has been expanded and added to over time. The "new" structure, which debuted in 2001, includes a combined music studio and library as well as three semi-open-plan classrooms. Our "new" hall, which debuted in 2003, is located in a separate building at the back of the school that also houses the school kitchen, the P.E. store, and changing rooms. We inaugurated our preschool in 2015. It has a separate classroom area, a kitchen, and an outdoor area. The "Barnes building," which debuted in 2017, was one of the school's newest additions. a timber structure containing two classrooms, a coat closet, and restrooms. It was given that name in honour of Beverley Barnes, our Chair of Governors from 1991 till the school's opening.
