From the School
Being the headmaster of Woodbridge Junior School makes me feel incredibly privileged and proud, so I'm thrilled that this brochure will give you a taste of our excellent school. After reading this packet, I hope you'll be eager to visit us and see for yourself what we have to offer for our incredible kids. Here at Woodbridge, our kids are at the centre of everything we do and every choice we make. We pride ourselves on knowing them well and being able to tailor the support we offer to each and every child so that they can achieve their fullest potential both academically and as a happy, fulfilled and valued citizen of Alfreton, the United Kingdom and the world. Our curriculum has been written to reflect the local, national and global opportunities and challenges that exist and to give our children the skills they will need to thrive and succeed in our ever changing world. We take great satisfaction in the high levels of care and dedication to learning displayed by our staff team for our kids every single day. They are dedicated to providing the very best learning and personal development for all and the high quality of this was recognised by Ofsted in July 2016 'The school's personal work to develop pupils' personal development and welfare is outstanding.'. At Woodbridge, we have the good fortune to be a part of a lovely, caring neighbourhood, and our school's success depends heavily on our collaboration with parents, families, and neighbourhood organisations. We invite you to visit us in person or online to learn more about why Woodbridge Junior School is seeing a sharp increase in the number of students enrolled.
