i have found this school to help with 1 hand and throw it away with the other. it took over a full term to deal with bullying and change sets more bullying and really not much done about it. they dont take into account a childs past and the medical problems that have followed the child. the said child hurts themselves and its sugested a visit to AnE would benefit medical evidence profided sen home...
I would like to see a change in support as there is not enough of it,A Lot of supply teachers who think that they're better than everyone else(one even threw a ruler at a student)but she has been sacked which is good but they shout at students who do absolutely nothing,Once one of them had a go at a group of friends sat at the front of the classroom talking about the work but didn't...
Ever since the new Senior Leadership Team (SLT) arrived at Winton Academy in September 2023, I have been pleasantly surprised by the positive changes that have been made. Managing a school of this magnitude must be challenging, especially when attempting to alter people's viewpoints. Regrettably, the Academy faced difficulties over the past few years, resulting in multiple changes in leadership. Despite receiving a good rating in their recent Ofsted evaluation, there is still progress needed...
