There are 404 students enrolled in Willand School, a well-liked village school, who range in age from 4 to 11. We are in Mid Devon, 3 miles north of Cullompton, right off the M5. All of the kids in our care receive education that meets a high standard. We understand that every child is special. We have the honour of being a part of their life, and we play a crucial part in ensuring that they reach their full potential. The school has recently expanded, giving the kids access to new, roomy accommodations. There are currently fourteen spacious, modern classrooms. The youngsters can have a fantastic meal prepared everyday on the grounds in a huge hall that also serves as the dining room. Additionally, we are lucky to have a large, level playing field, an Environmental Area, and two playgrounds on our expansive grounds. Children are provided with a wide range of educational opportunities and extracurricular activities by a top-notch staff, both inside and outside the classroom. They work to create a warm, welcoming environment where kids can enjoy school, learn, and grow into balanced, self-assured young adults. We have high expectations and great emphasis is placed on providing a quality learning environment which is attractive, stimulating and engages the children. At Willand, having a positive attitude is key. Children are expected to be polite, cooperative, helpful, and fair. They are also expected to work hard and take pride in their education, their accomplishments, and themselves.
