There is no better place to be than in the midst of a busy school, pulsing with the sounds and sights of children immersed in their learning; experiencing those magical moments when the flow of learning washes over everyone and children buzz with ideas, innovative solutions, creative thinking, quirky notions, refreshing views on life and all surrounded by rich colours and sounds. Such a place exists at Wicor, where learning is central to both our vision and all we do. We aim to provide a fantastic range of experiences that we hope will inspire, motivate and engage each and every child. Because we are aware that the best learners ask excellent questions, we encourage the kids to be inquisitive and to ask plenty of questions. We are aware that learning can be challenging when we venture outside of our comfort zones. We want to provide them the mindset and attitudes they need to take on the challenges of learning anything difficult or new. Children are aware that they must become autonomous learners, but this does not imply that they must do so alone because learning is a communal activity. Children in their class or those in other parts of the school, they learn how to collaborate with one another. We have lots of aspirations and expectations for each and every child and one small hope always marks each day; we hope that when children leave us at the end of their day in school they can't wait to come back the next!.
