From the Westfield Academy
Westfield Academy is a very effective institution that received the rating "Good" on our most recent OfSTED inspection in 2014.
We take great pride in our institution and see ourselves as an integral part of the villages and town of Yeovil.
Parents may feel confident that their children will be well cared for and inspired to be the best version of themselves at our warm and welcoming school, which is located on a beautiful and green campus.
Our school's motto is "Seeing the characteristics in every kid," and we strive to help every student become a successful lifelong learner who is self-assured and a contributing member of society.
Children tell us they like going to school, are content, and feel safe.
Children are also encouraged to take on leadership positions like Prefects, House Captains, and Form Captains, as well as to participate in our School Council and work to further develop their own school.
Children are supported and cared for by house heads, and houses serve as the foundation for inter-house sports competitions and fundraising activities.
Through our annual diversity week programme, among other things, we aim to inspire children to appreciate, respect, and comprehend difference.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is only one of the many extracurricular options that students are encouraged to take advantage of.
One of Westfield's main strengths is the performing arts.
The students of Westfield Academy are a varied group of exceptional and talented people.
Our comprehensive facilities and resources are extensive in order to give kids the finest educational fit to suit their requirements, abilities, and learning styles. The abilities, talents, and interests of our students vary greatly, and as a result, so do their abilities, talents, and interests.
You'll meet six Westfield Academy kids in this video: James, Tatiana, Danny, Maddie, Hannah, and Ashley.
They provided the following responses when we asked them about their opinions and feedback regarding life at our school.
