Our goal is to give kids a safe, nurturing atmosphere where they can form positive attitudes and grow up to be contributing members of the community. Every input is acknowledged and treasured. Our goal is for kids to be empathetic and tolerant of others. Our goal is to raise children who are strong and healthy and who feel protected at our school. We want to make sure that kids benefit from and excel within the framework we provide. Children are urged to contribute positively to both their local society and the larger global community to which we all belong. In an environment of respect, consideration, and kindness, positive behaviour is fostered in all aspects of school activities. All kids will be inspired to practise self-control and accept accountability for their deeds. Children establish their own classroom rules and participate in establishing school rules. The foundation of our behaviour policy is this. Bullying is not accepted, and any reports of it are taken very seriously. Bullying is dealt with at the school using a "no blame" strategy, which has been quite effective. Bullying is the emphasis of our Social, Emotional Aspects of Learning work, allowing the kids to completely comprehend what bullying is and what they can do to stop it.
