County Durham's Walworth School is a maintained special school.
For young children exhibiting social, emotional, and mental health issues, ages 4 to 11, we offer specialised day and residential schooling (SEMH).
Many of our students were unable to access the curriculum efficiently before enrolling in our school due to their unique behavioural or learning challenges.
Walworth School is dedicated to improving student performance and empowering students to see their potential for growth by assisting them through a specialised and interesting curriculum.
Every student who attends Walworth School has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), which designates the institution as the child's most suitable care setting.
The primary and supplemental needs of the students are determined by the EHCP.
The residential programme at the school, which offers a larger curriculum with a focus on social and emotional well-being, is an important and advantageous feature of the institution.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Levels 1 and 2 are divided into three stages.
Please contact the school office if you would like a paper copy of any of the documents on our website (or in any other format). They will give them to you without charge.
Please get in touch with the school if you need more information, and we will try to be of assistance.
