The 2019–2020 Head Girls and Boys are Sam Mills and Charlotte Farnell. Thank you for visiting Walton-le-Dale High School. We hope that this website will give you a genuine sense of what our school is all about. Since we have a small student body of just over 700, we get to know one another very well. We are known both locally and globally as a school that values each and every one of its pupils as an individual and is truly inclusive. All children should be treated as such in our opinion, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are given the opportunity to fully express their unique gifts. Our main goal is to foster an environment where students can learn and develop in a joyful, safe, and loving setting. We want our kids to put in a lot of effort, do their best, and grow in their awareness of their obligation to both themselves and others. In all they do, we urge our pupils to aim for excellence. We want our children to be proud of both themselves and their school. Walton-le-Dale has significantly improved recently. We'll keep getting better because we push both our students and ourselves to reach the high standards that we know your expectations as parents are. For details of our plans for school improvement please see https://www.waltonledale.lancs.sch.uk/about-us/school-improvement. We are also aware that family and school work together to educate children. Without your assistance and enthusiastic support, we cannot succeed. You are, of course, very welcome to contact us if you would like a tour of the school.
