Southall County School was established on September 14, 1907, with 54 students. It was one of the first new county secondary schools to be constructed in Britain, serving Southall, a neighbourhood that is still relatively young. The first Headmaster was Mr. Sam Pollitt, who was renowned for his steely blue eyes that looked intently over his bushy moustache. Going over the top in the First World War trenches was less of an experience than an interview with Mr. Pollitt, a former student said in a school magazine. The majority of the students were from white, middle-class, well-off families. Lord Lionel Robbins, regarded as the finest British economist of the 20th century, and Barry Foster, well-known from the 1970s television programme Van van Valk, were among its most well-known members. It is thought that the Board of Governors had twelve members between 1907 and 1917, with Mr. A. W. Perkin, an executive attorney and justice of the peace, serving as chairman (J.P). We changed our name to Southall Grammar in 1932, and the school's name to Southall Grammar Technical School in 1945. We had a strong legacy of sports, the intake of pupils was always determined by an entry examination, and the academic performance of outcomes was consistently in the top 10 nationwide. We changed our name to Villiers High School in 1975 and welcomed our first group of year 7 students without requiring them to take an entrance exam. Due to the fact that education was free for everybody, there was a quick ethnic shift and a wider range of students. The school's structures have withstood the test of time, and today it has a science and arts block, a drama, music, and business block, as well as a recently constructed sixth form (V6) and canteen.
