It is with great pleasure that I welcome myself to the Vicar's Green Primary School community as the new headteacher.
I consider myself very fortunate to have the chance to take over the leadership of a school with such a wonderful reputation in the community, and I feel tremendously honoured to have been nominated by the governors.
The transfer into this new role has been straightforward and seamless thanks to everyone's cooperation and assistance.
Since September 2010, when I began working here as the Year 6 class teacher and English subject leader, I have been a member of the Vicar's Green team.
My experience in the classroom has primarily been in Upper Key Stage 2.
As the Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO), I am familiar with the methods and approaches used to educate and assess kids who require more support than just high-quality instruction.
This experience has given me a thorough understanding of a student's fundamental educational journey.
The location of the school is still safe, and all employees—teaching and non-teaching—will be held to the same high standards as previously.
My main responsibility as the head of the school is to ensure that your child is successful, content, and safe while attending class.
Most days, both before and after school, you may find me on the playground for Key Stage 2.
