From the Vale of York Academy
I'm excited to welcome you to Vale of York Academy as its principal. "Always offering the best" is our motto. Our goal is for each student to achieve their full potential—to excel academically, grow into responsible, resilient young adults who will prosper and contribute positively to our community. As a secondary school which is smaller in size than many others in the city, we get to know and value each and every child, supporting them effectively throughout their time with us. Each child at Vale of York gains from being in a situation where everyone is respected for who they are as individuals. Our partnership with the Hope Learning Trust and Manor Church of England Academy allows us to share and grow expertise, and retain a breadth of experience for all our children. Our outcomes are increasing and our reputation is gaining ground as we move forward quickly. We would enjoy the chance to demonstrate why we have established ourselves as a school of choice.
