From the Two Bridges School
We are the West Kent Area's behavioural assistance service.
We provide assistance to all 16 secondary schools in West Kent through the WKLF referral forum, as well as 75 primary schools in Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and South Sevenoaks through our primary Tracks intervention.
We think it's important to give young people the tools they need to study in a safe, enjoyable way while also offering them options for the future.
The Focus outreach specialist visits the mainstream school or makes follow-up half-day visits to continue with the programme, involving parents, carers, and home schools completely in the process and supporting ongoing work after the five-day programme.
We work with students in a variety of mainstream schools, assisting students in the mainstream environment in an effort to remove obstacles to learning, deal with behavioural problems, and assist families in collaborating with mainstream schools and other organisations.
For students in years 10 and 11, we provide GCSE and other Level 2 instruction in a variety of subject areas.
These individualised study plans provide a strong emphasis on behaviour control, self-assurance, resilience, and teamwork skills.
Through our outreach workers, we collaborate closely with the local primary schools to support with behaviour at school.
For a period of time, we work with students and their families at their mainstream school to remove obstacles to learning and develop stronger success-oriented habits.
In order to develop support strategies that have an influence on the learning and behaviours of the referred student and keep them as successfully in their classroom with peers as feasible, outreach workers collaborate closely with the class teacher and assistants in schools.
Funding from both the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells LIFT Executive forums fully supports our work.
Our safeguarding expectations and policies are at the highest level and extremely important to us because of the vulnerability of the students and their families that we work with.
We always require an enhanced DBS clearance certificate for Two Bridges employees as well as visitors coming to work with pupils from their home schools since we are a safer recruitment company.
Please utilise the contact information on our contacts page to phone or email me if you have any questions about our school, our accomplishments, or even the opportunity to work with us.
