Hello and welcome to the webpage for our school. Trowell Church of England Primary is located in a wonderful semi-rural area, and cows regularly pass through the school grounds to be milked. We serve the village of Trowell and are located right on the Nottinghamshire side of the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border. We are closely connected to the village's St. Helen's Church. The phrase "Pupils are polite and well mannered around school" was highlighted in our most recent Ofsted inspection (in October 2017). We are proud of how well-behaved and considerate our children are, and we are also proud that the principles we uphold help to set our students up for future success. On the page for our school's vision and values, you can read more about these values. Our school is defined as "an engaging and innovative learning environment where students are proud to belong, feel appreciated, and do well" in the most recent SIAMs report (December 2014). This is due to the school's efforts to be a welcoming, joyful community with a strong Christian foundation. To assist our students grow into responsible, compassionate learners and citizens, we are devoted to instilling in them our Christian values. We are confident that by working together, we can provide our kids with the support they require during their time in school. All of our students benefit from the Christian ethos of our school in terms of academic success, personal growth, and wellbeing. At Trowell C of E Primary School, we're eager to share and celebrate with you the accomplishments of our students. You are more than welcome to visit us and discover for yourself what makes our students so exceptional.
