From the Trinity School
It is a privilege to be able to write to you in my first term as Headteacher of Trinity School. I am looking forward to working with you and meeting you at our regular parents' evenings and events. I offer a warm welcome to the parents/carers of our new Year 7 students and look forward to officially welcoming you to the Trinity community at our Year 7 Information Evening next week. A separate letter has gone out inviting you to this event. Welcome, too, to those joining us from other schools in Year 12. Mr. Winter, Assistant Head and Head of Sixth Form, will be meeting you at the Year 12 Information and Tutor Evening on 25th September. Both year groups have settled well, with 100% attendance in Year 7 on their first day. They are finding their way around, are making new friends and seem happy. Year 12 have been involved in a three-day induction programme which involved a variety of activities: first aid training, road safety awareness, teambuilding and sessions designed to set them up effectively for their academic studies that start on Monday. Everyone is eager to start.
