From the Tower Road Academy
Tower Road Academy, in our opinion, is a "wonderful" place for primary-age children to live, laugh, and learn in the twenty-first century. We are really proud of our academy. We strongly believe that children learn best in a bright, exciting and stimulating environment in which they know they will be encouraged to make excellent progress, feel safe, have fun, experience both success and disappointment, be proud, be brave, take risks and respect others. We take great pride in being one of the best-resourced and furnished primary schools in the nation, giving our students access to a wide range of activities and possibilities, such as competitive athletics, canoeing, acting, rock climbing, creating movies, making music, and so much more. During their seven years with us, we think all Tower Road students want to mature into responsible, self-reliant, and confident young adults who are equipped to handle the demands of contemporary life. Tower Road Academy will continue to be a highly successful and thriving Academy for the benefit of everyone in the community because we feel we have high expectations for all of our students and staff and are confident in the support of all parents. As a sports and performing arts academy, we are constantly thinking of new and exciting ways to develop and create chances for all of our students to enjoy and be motivated to continue their academic and extracurricular pursuits even after they have left Tower Road. We extend a warm welcome to new parents and their kids while continuing to forge close bonds with our current families. Together, our community at Tower Road Academy can accomplish anything. Headteacher Mrs. J. French and Chairman of the Governors Mr. S. Oswin.
