I want to extend a warm welcome to you at our school. We are a sizable primary school that serves the residents of St. Ives' west side. We have a strong commitment to the education of our kids and go above and beyond to ensure that each one realises their full potential. Our improved SAT exam scores demonstrate this. Our school was completely refurbished in September 2014 and has a very sophisticated environment. 20 sessions begin in September 2019. Reception 3 courses 3 classes in Year 1 2nd grade 3 courses Years 3, 3, and 4 Years 4 and 3 3 classrooms in Year 5 2nd grade classrooms. In order for every child to reach their full potential, we think that strong connections between the family and school are essential. The involvement of parents in their children's education is strongly encouraged, and many provide ongoing volunteer assistance or financial support for certain initiatives throughout the academic year. Our Home-School Link Book makes daily communication efficient. The school is currently housed in a new 16 classroom building which was ready for the school population in September 2014. The Infant building was refurbished and houses Reception, Pre-School and Kids' Club. There are two primary playground sections, each with a trim route and outdoor playthings. The large playing field gives plenty of space for games lessons and lunchtime activities. There is an enclosed wildlife area with a pond and we have a vegetable plot with our own 'eco' friendly greenhouse. Our caretaker takes a keen interest in looking after our school and lives in the bungalow on site.
