The age range served by Templewood School is four to eleven. Normally, there are 240 students on duty. The school has generous space and accommodation and is housed in a Grade 2* listed building which in 2011 celebrated its 60th anniversary. Every member of the Templewood community is encouraged to take use of the available learning opportunities since we feel they all have something valuable to contribute to the school's life. We work to foster a climate of respect for both children and adults. From the time children enter the Nursery, they are encouraged to become independent, enjoy their learning and take risks in an atmosphere of safety and support. We want to make sure that by the time the students leave in Year 6, they have had the chance to mature into responsible, compassionate young adults in an environment that values respect, kindness, and understanding.
