It is a pleasure and an honour for me to serve as the Headteacher and to welcome you to Tealby School. Our school is a place of joy, laughter, education, and a desire to achieve our highest potential. We acknowledge that each child is a unique individual with unique skills and abilities. Every student at Tealby has a talent, and we recognise all of their efforts and accomplishments. Here, children are content. They are comfortable, confident, and free to express themselves. Our school has a vibrant, stimulating atmosphere that is full of opportunities and encouragement. Children participate voluntarily and are ready to learn more. Staff members thrive on the challenge of developing the highest standards of learning. We promote significant parental involvement in their children's education because we recognise the value of good home/school ties. We have an open door policy and welcome fresh thoughts and ideas. I believe that the secret to a prosperous future is education. The professional choices available globally are making it more difficult for today's youth to compete locally. Therefore, it is essential that our kids are completely prepared to compete with pupils around the globe. In light of this, we have very high standards. We work hard to attain academic success and to foster an atmosphere that encourages the development of young minds.
