To develop the whole child by providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment built on trust and where all children become confident, active and independent, lifelong learners. for students to develop strong morals, aspirations, and self-worth and to become prepared to face a constantly changing world. The school has adopted a Safeguarding Policy, which strictly adheres to current guidelines on protecting the welfare and safety of all the children under our care and meets the guidelines set by the local authority. The school office has a copy of this policy on file. When there may be concerns about the welfare or safety of a child, we adhere to the suggested measures. We are required by law to support other authorities with child protection and safeguarding inquiries. Our Senior Designated Safeguarding Officer is Mrs Beverley Derrett, the Headteacher, Ms Leigh Hilton and Mrs Jenny Cocksedge are the school's Alternative Safeguarding Officers and our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs Theresa Vinnicombe.
