The Northern Hub for the Institute of Research In Schools is Tapton School (IRIS).
Students will get the chance to participate in legitimate scientific research.
Students are now using data from the UK Astronomy Technology Centre (UKATC) of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to identify suitable targets for the James Webb Space Telescope, which will be launched by NASA in 2021.
