We at Sytchampton are passionate about education in a beautiful rural environment. The development of the crucial linkages between home and school takes place in our Reception class, where we place a strong emphasis on each unique child who joins us. Children are encouraged to explore, grow, and broaden their skill sets in the early years. Then, we support them in becoming exceptional students who are equipped with the knowledge and self-assurance necessary to face whatever obstacles the future may bring. Our hardworking team of teachers, administrators, and governors creates a nurturing environment where kids can flourish. Our curriculum values creativity, draws connections that are pertinent, and honours student achievement with stunning presentations. We are also pleased to provide extracurricular activities, coaching in PE, music, French, and Forest Schools. Our size enables us to retain a unique village ethos with a strong sense of community and parental involvement which is reflected by the enthusiasm of the PTA and parents attendance at our celebration assemblies and events. Since September 2015, we have provided instruction up to Year 6, and in July 2017, the first cohort of Year 6 students transitioned to high school. Our Key Stage 2 SATs results and the way we get students ready for the next level of study make us very proud. They complete transition work with the High School and work collaboratively in the summer term on an 'Apprentice' style project learning business skills and fundraising. A Key Stage 2 performance, a leavers party outing, and an assembly always mark the conclusion of the school year. Come meet our students, who are joyful, self-assured, and have high standards for behaviour.
