From the Sunnyhill Primary School
Welcome to Sunnyhill Primary School, everyone! Our two-form entry school has a children's centre adjacent to it, and we provide a nursery with both full- and part-time spots. We provide all of our children with an inclusive and comprehensive education while serving the heart of Streatham. The employees at Sunnyhill is renowned for its strong sense of community and stability. They are familiar with the area and regularly celebrate its variety. All of our community members are involved in our work because we uphold a solid set of values. These ideals will be demonstrated every day in the classroom. Our students make great rates of development at Sunnyhill, which has an Ofsted rating of "Good." In 2018, we were among the top 10% of schools for reading and writing advancement and among the top 25% for math progress. Children of various backgrounds and abilities perform admirably. You can find signs of learning all over the school and in how confident our kids are. Teaching is imaginative, locally grounded, but global. We are not sluggish; instead, we look for chances to learn and grow. Our kids receive thorough instruction on how to take charge both on their own and in groups. Later this term, we look forward to meeting potential parents and carers for our 2020–21 intake, and we can't wait to welcome our new Reception students as they start their academic journey with us! As Sunnyhill's new head teacher, I am eager to oversee the institution's continued expansion and development in partnership with parents/caregivers, students, and the larger community.
