At Stokesay Primary School, we take great satisfaction in being a very inclusive institution.
In most year groups, we accept students from the nearby Long Lane site, and we also accept an increasing number of students who are learning English as a second language.
We have every right to celebrate the rich and diverse mix of cultures and backgrounds present in our school because it teaches all of our students to embrace difference and gain an understanding of others who may have had different life experiences than they do.
Along with supporting each child's intellectual, physical, creative, and emotional growth, Stokesay Primary School also actively promotes their spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development.
We put a lot of effort into making sure that we unleash the full potential of active, inquisitive minds, enabling every student to pick up knowledge and skills across the curriculum while adopting a reflective mindset.
We promote respect for moral principles, a strong sense of right and wrong, as well as a caring attitude for the environment in which they are growing up.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT: Our goal is to support each child's holistic development in a serene and loving setting where kids can build and encourage deep connections.
To enable them to engage and prosper in the greater local, national, and global community today and in the future, we work to develop in our kids an awareness of other people's needs, a feeling of justice and fairness, and a respect for each individual member of the school community.
We promote the development of learners who are aware of their own (broad) ancestry as well as the comprehension of the essential principles of democracy, respect for religious beliefs, and tolerance for all races, religions, and lifestyles.
In order for the kids to succeed, we think it's crucial that they like learning, get curious, and wonder about the world.
