This is a warm, accepting, and friendly Christian family community where everyone gains confidence in themselves both academically and personally in a setting where growth in spirituality, morals, social skills, and culture is encouraged. We hope this website aims to give you a flavour of what our school is like, as well as providing regular updated information for parents, pupils and parents considering applying for a place. However, the only way to truly experience the community we have built is to come visit us. When kids feel loved, valued, and special, they learn better. Because we are confident that there will be meaningful learning taking place and a welcoming atmosphere making this a special place to be, we are always proud to tour visitors around our school. Our school was initially established in 1836 to offer education in a Christian environment to children living in the hamlet and nearby farm houses. Today, we provide services to the neighbourhood and beyond for parents who want to send their kids to a small, vibrant village school. Small Church of England schools are something we strongly support, not only for the kind of education and experiences they offer but also for what they can do to improve the educational system as a whole. We developed a very strong reputation for inclusion and our work with children with Special Education Needs whilst stretching our higher performing children and consistently achieving well above national average results for reading, writing and mathematics. We are proud of our kids and the staff members because they care, are committed, and go above and above to make this a warm, welcoming environment to study.
