From the Stickney Church of England Primary School
Our school has seven single-age classes in large, well-lit classrooms and serves students from four to eleven years old. There is a sizable outdoor classroom available only for the Early Years. Small courses are used to teach KS1 students, and we can offer skilled instructors and support staff with outstanding adult-to-student ratios. With feeder secondary schools, including neighbourhood grammar schools and Stickney William Lovell Academy in particular, close communication is maintained. Stickney Primary School's Creative Curriculum received a "excellent" rating from Ofsted at our most recent inspection in February 2013. We can offer a high standard of teaching and learning because the Creative Curriculum covers all fundamental and foundational areas. The curriculum is divided into six subjects that are covered throughout the year, and every term, topic webs for each year group are released beneath the class information. The Read, Write, Inc. phonics programme and the Oxford Reading Tree programme are primarily used to teach reading to students in Key Stage 1. The Parents area of the website allows access to our school prospectus, which contains more detailed information about our curriculum.
