A warm and inviting school with a strong Christian culture is St. Thomas' Church of England Infant School. The school's main beliefs are summed up in the statement, "Journeying together in Faith and Love." Through the ideals of gratitude, honesty, friendship, forgiveness, compassion, and respect, these essential values are cultivated and ingrained throughout the school. 102 students between the ages of 4 and 7 are enrolled in the school right now. We have two classes in Year R/Year 1 and two classes in Year 1/Year 2. A teaching assistant works full-time in every class to support the students. The school has an excellent programme of precision teaching and SEN programmes throughout the entire institution. The SENCO is engaged at the school two days each week. The Better Reading Partners Scheme is run by the SENCO, who also interacts with students in their courses.
