From the St Richard's Catholic College
From the ages of 11 to 16, St. Richard's provides students of all abilities with an inclusive, Christian education that is inspired by gospel ideals. In our friendly, family-oriented school, everyone is urged to strive "to be the best you can be" and to watch out for others, especially the weaker members of society. The idea is to put your "faith in action" through serving others. Each kid is able to identify and develop the gifts that God has given him or her thanks to high standards and a culture of support and encouragement. In addition, we want to provide an environment where students can study and grow into well-rounded, accountable, and self-assured members of the community. Our GCSE achievements attest to the strong academic standards we maintain. We expect our students to put in a lot of effort, behave respectfully, look good, and strive for excellence in everything they do, both inside and outside the classroom. All of our efforts are focused on making sure that the students feel both valued and challenged since we see them as distinct, priceless individuals with a variety of talents and aspirations. We never get comfortable, thus we constantly work to improve our school. I hope the website is useful to you and that it gives you a glimpse into life at St. Richard's.
