I am so impressed with this school. The private sector is what I have known in the past. This school is outstanding in so many ways. At the start there was an excellent induction programme making new pupils feel welcomed and comfortable for the start of their journey at this school. I have observed a very informative positive active leadership, pupils are known by staff, excellent extra curricular activities, happy pupils. This is my impression...
My child is thriving at this school. She has enjoyed the variety of extra curriculum activities and is excelling in a sport she has not been able to try before. Teachers make learning fun and interactive and the new headteacher is passionate and has a positive and clear vision for the school. Pupils are respectful and well thought off throughout the community. For us it was thankfully a good choice for our child.
I have had 3 children attend this school, one is still there and the other 2 now at University. All my children have thrived at this school and excelled in sports and music with the opportunities that have been open to them The new Headteacher has a fresh new approach and is passionate about the school and it's students. I would highly recommend this school both for academics and its extra curricular activities.
This school looks amazing on paper the head teacher is like a used car sales man, and says all the right things but doesn't live up to what he promises and the schools ethos. The communication is poor, you're often not given the correct information or none at all. The support for children who really need it unfortunately is not provided.
