The Staff, Governors and I are delighted to welcome you to St Matthew's Church of England Primary School, where we are proud of our distinctive Christian character and our strong links with St Matthew's church and our local community. Being the headteacher of St. Matthew's, a welcoming, compassionate, and inclusive religious school, makes me extremely proud. At the core of everything we do is our mission of "creating an inclusive environment where all children learn and grow in a setting moulded by Christian Values." The committed staff at St. Matthew's works hard to make sure that every child is a content, well-rounded, and self-assured student. We value each child's originality because it makes them special. Families that want their kids to develop spiritually, academically, and socially are welcome here. While we support students in achieving the best academic standards possible, we also believe it's crucial for kids to acquire the attitudes and abilities needed to be productive and healthy citizens. We collaborate closely with parents and carers to create bonds that will aid kids in their educational path. The involvement of parents in their children's education is encouraged, and many of them participate in field trips and volunteer as Reading Rangers. I hope you find our website useful, but please take the time to visit our school where you can meet the children and staff who make this school such an exciting and vibrant place to be.
