In order to revitalise and update the school's vision and determine the Christian qualities that are most essential to all of us, we recently conducted an exercise with the students, teachers, and governors. From these, we created a new statement of our school's ethos and what it means for a child to attend St. Mary's. We are pleased to share our new course of action. Please join us in recognising and supporting the Christian Values that will underpin our school's continued success as well as the new vision ethos that it has adopted. Our Christian principles are at the heart of everything we do at St. Mary's CE Primary, according to our vision statement. Friendship, compassion, hope, wisdom, community, and endurance are among our core Christian virtues. Every area of school life is woven with these Christian principles, resulting in a distinctly Christian ethos that guides all of one's decisions and actions. Staff members act, speak, and behave with every member of the St. Mary's family in a manner that models and exemplifies each principle. We expect our students and the larger school community to live up to the universal Christian ideals that all people, regardless of faith, should uphold. These principles have a positive influence on how we approach teaching and learning and are fundamental to the development of strong British Values, combined with a dedication to improving our kids' knowledge of their rights and duties. These are essential for raising and educating our kids for the future. In order to make St. Mary's CE Primary a school where we love and care for everyone, just as Jesus loved us, we therefore embody these principles together with our vision.
