We hope it will give you a sense of everything that goes into making St. Mark's. Although we have done our best to show you every element of school life, there is still no replacement for actually visiting us. Please get in touch with Mrs. Richardson, the school secretary, if you'd like to schedule a visit so you can see St. Mark's in action. She'll be happy to show you around. Boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11 are served at St Mark's CE Staplefield, which opened its doors in 1849. There are now four mixed-age classrooms with a total of 91 students enrolled. The picturesque rural location of the school is hidden behind the local church. Children come from Crawley, Haywards Heath, Cuckfield, Balcombe, Handcross, and other distant places in addition to Staplefield to attend our school. We want to create a Christian environment at St. Mark's CE Primary School where everyone feels appreciated, respected, and safe. We strive to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and active through our comprehensive, challenging, and inclusive curriculum. Children respond very well to the caring character and environment of the school, and they gain from receiving a modern education in the conventional setting of a village school. We value strengthening our ties to our families and the community, and we hope you'll be able to join us in this endeavour.
