Allow them to see your good actions and the glory of your heavenly father by letting your light shine before them.
This biblical verse, in our opinion, focuses the efforts of our school's staff, students, and parents to provide a setting where each student can find and develop their own. Schools and social contact are intended to help students recognise the Christian Values that enable them to excel.
Being a church school, our work is based on our Christian beliefs.
It establishes the rules for instruction, extracurriculars, and St. Margaret's culture and ethos.
build and maintain a completely inclusive, nondiscriminatory, safe, secure, caring, supportive, and stimulating environment where each child is respected and encouraged to attain their greatest potential.
Encourage students to cultivate an awareness of moral principles as well as a sympathetic and optimistic attitude toward all students and members of the larger community.
Make sure to offer a broad, balanced, and pertinent curriculum that: ensures continuity and progression; is accessible to all students; is appropriate to their individual needs; complies with the requirements of the National Curriculum; and places a strong emphasis on the value of numeracy and literacy.
Ensure that all staff members receive the guidance and instruction required to realise their full potential and satisfy the school's growth needs.
Our KS2 reward system is meant to recognise students who "Let their light shine" and to motivate them to concentrate and learn new strategies for doing so.
Students frequently have time for prayer and thought in class, during services, and at predetermined times during the day, like lunch.
However, we think that meditation, stillness, and prayer are essential skills for assisting students in understanding who they are and the difficulties that contemporary life might provide.
We work hard to give students plenty of chances to reflect on who they are and how they relate to others. This gives them time to consider how, with God's guidance, they may make a difference in the lives of others.
On the day that the SAT exams were completed, taking Year 6 students to the life exhibition provided a fantastic opportunity to address some of the questions about life and Christianity.
An exceptionally important moment for reflection and prayer that is truly uplifting.
