This school will promote British values through its curriculum, extracurricular activities, teaching, and learning. By doing this, we will make sure that every learner is aware of the principles that have historically supported British society. The promotion of cohesion within our school and community will result from the teaching of these values. By emphasising the values upon which our society is based, we will prepare students for life in England, where the population has an increasingly rich diversity of backgrounds, origins, views, lifestyles, and cultures. We can all become good citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland if we teach our students these values. We can also teach them how these values have shaped British culture throughout its history, geography, language, literature, sport, and educational systems, including religions. Students will obtain a solid understanding of the principles that support citizenship's benefits, rights, obligations, and duties through our work and collaborations. Young people will be given the knowledge, skills, and understanding they need to contribute favourably to the cohesion of our local and wider society. Young adults who are responsible and support and positively appreciate community cohesion will be produced. This policy will significantly enhance the school's welcoming atmosphere. The effects of this policy shall be evaluated, and its implementation will be followed, by the head teacher and Governing Body. It should be considered alongside the other school policies, especially the. Policies on racial and gender equality, equal access to opportunities, civic engagement, and behaviour.
