From the St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Anderton
The semi-rural village of Anderton, close to Chorley, is served by St. Joseph's, a voluntary aided Catholic primary school. It serves the parishes of Anderton and Heath Charnock as well as the township of Adlington. In this welcoming village, the school enjoys great ties to the parish and the local populace. Additionally, we have strong relationships with all of the neighbourhood nurseries. In particular, Holy Cross in Chorley and St. Joseph's in Horwich collaborate with the school to offer invaluable extracurricular and cross-curricular support as well as top-notch transitional services for students moving on to the next stage of their academic careers. We collaborate closely with Anderton Day Nursery to provide breakfast and after-school care as part of our extended services programme, and we also cooperate with the other Adlington nurseries and schools to jointly fulfil other necessary provisions. We are dedicated to giving all students access to an engaging, comprehensive, and balanced education. Our top priority is making sure that your child is happy and fulfilled, and we feel that in order to do this, we must create a strong collaboration between home and school. We fervently urge parental involvement and support in the operations of our school. "This is an incredibly pleasant school with amazing teachers who work incredibly hard to promote children's learning," said one student.
