For significant occasions, students from St. John's Primary School go to the church in St. John's village.
Our Year 6 students attend a leaver's service in Guildford Cathedral to commemorate their transition to secondary education.
Children leaving St. John's with a love of learning and pride in their personal growth will carry these qualities into their next stage of school, serving as the cornerstone for a happy and prosperous future.
Children's safety in schools and online is a top priority for the staff and governors at St. John's, and we endeavour to instil respect for one another in all we do.
We strongly believe that when schools and parents work together, children perform at their best. As such, we strive to be as parent-friendly as possible and are constantly looking for ways to improve.
Obtain a termly newsletter regarding the education being provided. get a weekly newsletter from the principal be invited to participate in termly parent consultations where student development and learning goals are discussed receive invitations to a variety of events, including sporting events, concerts, and family picnics. To meet other parents and the head teacher, be invited to parent coffee mornings at the beginning of each month. Become PTA (Parent Teacher Association) members (PTA) Have the chance to participate in workshops every year to learn how to best support your child Have frequently updated home and school contact books have the chance to offer suggestions for educational improvements during our school development planning sessions during the summer term.
The primary school and the well-liked Children's Center are housed in the same structure.
