Thank you for visiting St. John's CE (C) Infant School. We hope you find the information on our website useful and it enables you to build a good picture of our lovely, happy school situated on Dewsbury Moor and closely linked to St John's Church, which is part of the Diocese of Leeds. We are all really proud of our enthusiastic children who are passionate about learning and show lots of care, respect and forgiveness towards each other, as well as demonstrating many other Christian values, as recognised in our latest SIAMS inspection that states we are an outstanding Church School. I have recently joined the St John's family, April 2019, and I could not be happier to be part of such a committed, approachable and hard-working team who share my whole philosophy of education. Firstly, this means ensuring that at the heart of every decision made is increasing the enjoyment the children get out of their learning and the huge satisfaction gained from their achievements. We aim to build confidence and learn to be tolerate in a safe learning environment where everyone is valued so that we can all face the challenges in everyday life. We set high standards for all of our students to help them succeed and realise their full academic, social, emotional, moral, and spiritual potential. We wish to provide priceless experiences that will endure forever. We are a good school with certain standout traits, according to our most recent OFSTED report. Enjoy your time browsing our website, and don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you need any more details.
