As the head teacher of St. Giles C of E Primary School, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.
I feel in a tremendously privileged situation because the school is at the centre of our community.
The tiny village of South Mymms is home to St Giles Church of England Primary School, which is located on the outskirts of Potters Bar.
We may not be well known to many, but we have been a part of the community for more than 180 years, and we were among the first schools in the Potters Bar region.
On our new site, where guests travelled from far and wide to join us, we celebrated our 60th anniversary in 2017.
The success of the 60th anniversary demonstrates how unique St. Giles is.
With slightly over 100 students, St Giles is a small school where students are taught in mixed-age classes.
Although Ofsted's most recent inspection found that we are an excellent school, we strive to improve upon that.
