All pupils are welcome at St. George's Catholic Primary School. It serves the nearby settlements of both Warminster and Westbury as well as the Parishes of St. George and St. Bernadette. It serves as a feeder school for Trowbridge's St. Augustine's Catholic College. To cultivate active, inquisitive minds that question and reason, to become creative and aesthetic-aware, to work hard both mentally and physically, to respect religious values, to form personal and moral principles, to enjoy learning, and to achieve success. The teaching at the school attempts to identify and fully develop each student's gifts and skills. Above all, we shall foster in the kids a love for God and a respect for good Christian principles based on the Gospels' accounts of Christ's teachings, which will foster lifelong learners. At St. George's School, parents' engagement in their children's education is respected and always welcomed. A Parent's Voice group was formed in 2014 to figure out how to involve parents in the school. The children benefit from visits from parents, grandparents, and other adults with specialised knowledge, such as painters, scientists, and historians, in addition to assistance with reading and arts and crafts. We frequently collaborate with nearby secondary schools, particularly Kingdown in Warminster and St. Augustine's in Trowbridge. Children have the chance to learn Forest School methods as part of the PSHE curriculum because we have a certified Forest School Leader.
