A federated infant and junior school with three form entries is St. Francis de Sales School (a federation means that the infant and junior schools used to be separate schools but now the two schools are united under one headteacher).
We provide services to a group of close to 700 students in kindergarten through grade 6.
Every child at St. Francis is encouraged to identify and develop their God-given talent via a dynamic curriculum with a worldwide focus.
Our main objective as a Catholic school is to carry out the Church's educational mission by making sure we offer the best level of academic accomplishment within a moral and spiritual framework.
Therefore, at St. Francis, we strive to create a learning environment where: Students are eager, self-directed learners who are inspired by the broad and varied curriculum.
This inspires everyone at the school to perform at their highest level, and our mission statement reflects this.
Our values serve as the guiding principles that guide all of our actions and guide our behaviour at all times.
We also make sure that our students are aware of the broader "British values," which include freedom, respect for others, democracy, and the rule of law.
These British values are actively promoted across every aspect of the school's curriculum, systems, and procedures, and they have a strong connection to the principles of our institution.
The statutory Prevent Duty of our school is supported by our principles as well.
