To enhance the teaching of communication, language, and literacy in settings and schools, Letters and Sounds is a phonics curriculum. It expands on the experiences the kids have had with the environment's previous activities. The kids pick their own activities and play a lot while learning, and they are encouraged to apply their growing phonics knowledge to those activities.
