Welcome to St Charles' Roman Catholic Primary School. It is an absolute pleasure to be the Acting Head teacher of this wonderful school. I have been a member of staff at this school for nearly 8 years and love the opportunity I have been given to lead such a fantastic team. Everybody is working together to provide the best education possible for our children and as a result, we hope that they, and their parents, will enjoy many happy years in our school.

Our OFSTED inspection in January of last year noted:

St Charles' is at the heart of its community. Relationships between staff, pupils and their families are caring and supportive. The pupils that I spoke to told me that teachers ‘make learning fun’. Pupils are happy. They enjoy learning new things. Pupils told me that they feel safe at school. The vast majority of parents and carers share this view. Pupils say that if they have any worries or concerns, they can turn to staff for support.

I am very proud of the happy atmosphere and excellent opportunities for children to enjoy their learning at St Charles'.

You are welcome to come and have a look round. Please contact school on 01254 886110 to make arrangements.

Yours sincerely
Mr Patrick Kennedy
